Pricing guide

Clear pricing guidance for real clearance work.

We load, remove and dispose of unwanted items responsibly. Online estimates give a VAT-inclusive starting point; we confirm a fixed quote after checking the load, access and waste type.

What affects price

  • Load size and approximate volume.
  • Waste type, weight and disposal route.
  • Parking, stairs, narrow access or extra carrying distance.
  • Special items such as mattresses, fridges, freezers, electrical items, plasterboard or rubble.

How we confirm the price

We review photos, access information, load size and disposal requirements before confirming the price for the clearance. You know what is included before work starts.

Payment position

Once your fixed quote is confirmed, payment can be made by bank transfer. Card payment links may be available on request. Deposits are not routine but may be requested for large, urgent or higher-risk jobs.

Load-size guide

Not sure? Choose the closest option and upload photos. We will verify the load before confirming any fixed quote.

Indicative only

Small / few items

A chair, a few bags, small furniture or a light corner of a room.

Best for simple clearances where the items are easy to describe.

Quarter load

Several bulky items, a cupboard clear-out or a light garage corner.

Useful when there is more than a single item but not a large mixed load.

Half load

Part of a garage, a room clear-out or a mixed pile of furniture and bags.

A common starting point for house, garage and bulky waste enquiries.

Full load

A full garage, larger room clearance or a sizeable mixed household load.

Photos help us check access, weight and whether special items are included.

Multiple loads

Whole-property, large garage or bulky clearance likely to need more than one trip.

Always reviewed before any fixed quote is confirmed.

Indicative example bands

These bands mirror the online estimator and include VAT. They are not fixed quotes; ClearPath confirms the fixed price after review.

From £950+ inc VAT

Requires review before a fixed quote is confirmed.

Items that can change the quote

Heavy materials

Rubble, soil and plasterboard are priced separately from volume alone and may need disposal or weight checks.

Special items

Mattresses, sofas, fridges, freezers and electrical items may need separate handling or uplift.

Access

Stairs, narrow access, parking away from the property or long carries can increase labour time.

Large clearances

Multiple-load jobs are shown as a from-price and require photos or a site check before a fixed quote.

Quote confirmation concept before clearance work begins.

Important quote note

If the load is larger, heavier or materially different from the information supplied, we may need to revise the quote before work starts. The aim is fair, transparent pricing, not surprise charges on arrival.

Pricing questions

These answers explain how estimate guidance becomes a fixed quote after review.

How much does a small clearance usually cost?

Small, straightforward clearances usually start from the small-load guide price, but the fixed quote still depends on access, waste type and any special items.

Why are online estimates indicative?

The online estimate uses the details you provide, but ClearPath confirms a fixed quote only after checking the load, access, photos and disposal requirements.

What can change the final quote?

Load size, weight, stairs, parking, carrying distance, specialist items and disposal route can all affect the final fixed quote.

Do mattresses, fridges, rubble or plasterboard cost more?

They can. Mattresses, fridges, freezers, electrical items, rubble, soil and plasterboard may need separate handling, pricing or specialist disposal.

Do access or parking issues affect price?

Yes. Long carries, stairs, narrow access or parking away from the property can increase labour time and may affect the quote.

Can I send photos before you confirm a quote?

Yes. Photos are encouraged because they help ClearPath verify the load and spot any items that may need special handling.

Do I pay before or after the clearance?

Payment timing is confirmed with the fixed quote. Deposits are not routine, but may be requested for larger, urgent or higher-risk jobs.

Is card payment available?

Bank transfer is the main payment option. Card payment links may be available on request once the fixed quote is confirmed.
